The powertrain of the vehicle, including the electric motor, single speed gearbox and differential all neatly packaged between the rear wheels

Installation of the powertrain into the first car, the modular assembly allows for easy mounting and removal

Viewed from underneath, the powertrain is mounted between the rear wheels. Replacing the fuel tank in the standard car is the power electronics module which includes the motor inverter and high voltage battery connector (cover plate removed)

Jens and Jason assembling the battery

Unique battery cell terminals were created in-house by EV Engineering, screwed connectors are laser welded to the cells allowing the battery modules to be disassembled if needed

The battery is fitted in place of the engine and transmission in the standard car with latches which allow the complete pack to be removed in a battery switch station and replaced by a freshly charged pack
